Thunderchild

Thunderchild originally formed in 1982 to play our own original material,with a
few covers played in our own style.We played all over Ireland for the next 10 years.We split up for three years then we came back as a three piece under the name The china white blues band for three years in the nineties until we
went on to other various musical projects.

Thunderchild reformed in 2006 and with a few changes are now back to a five man crew, with the inclusion of two new first class guitarists, David Strain and Brett Arthur along with our outstanding new vocalist Eamon Killen Lead Vocals they line up with the two remaining original Thunderchild members Pete Cairns Bass and Stephen Hale Drums.

Thunderchild aim to send people home with a smile on their face after a night of old school rock and metal classics from the vast catalog of rock legends.
Thunderchild have played in a wide variety of venues ,in the North and South of Ireland. Katy Daly’s, The Pavilion, The Blue Anchor Bar,Ma Nelsons,The lonley poet, The Black boat and are regulars in The IVY Bar Newtownards.

They also play for quite a lot of motorcycle events and clubs including The Lone Wolves, The End of the Line, The Flatliners, The Honda Shadow owners club, The Harley Davidson owners club, The Sins and Twins, The Coyotes RC, to name a few.
